Overview
The National Governmental Collections Conference is a two day event with multiple sessions focusing on improving court collections and compliance, increasing governmental revenues, and examining cutting edge collections technologies. The conference will be the forth event in as many years but the first under the sponsorship of the National Governmental Collectors Association with an expanded format that will included other areas of governmental collections. This event has the potential to be the largest in its brief history. Conference attendance has grown each year and with the expansion of the targeted attendance base to include local ordinances, probation and parole, law enforcement, utilities, child support, and student loans, it is projected that attendance at this conference could easily exceed 300. According to a recently released report there is an estimated $40 billion in delinquent debt owed local governments and municipal governments alone generate a staggering $1.25 trillion in revenue annually. This will not be the traditional tradeshow styled event. Participating vendors will not compete with hundreds of other vendors for the attention of potential clients. The setting will be exclusive and intimate. Vendors will have the opportunity to meet and talk with hundreds of prospective clients in a superior business setting as well as showcase their offerings through vendor exhibits. To ensure a highly focused and personal event, space is limited to only 15 exhibiting companies. Participating vendors must demonstrate that they represent the very best in their particular area of specialization.
Attendees
Attendees are people with court collection responsibility: city, county, and state officials including state administrators, county commissioners and supervisors, county and district clerks, city managers, municipal court clerks, treasurers, auditors, finance managers, and law enforcement personnel interested in a source of additional revenue; judges seeking a higher degree of court-ordered compliance; court managers, collectors, information technology specialist, and administrators in search of improved fine and costs collections.
